About the forums

Advancing Performance Vehicle Technology

The 2025 program at PMW Expo featured two dedicated, free-to-attend technical forums: the Advanced Powertrain Technology Forum and the AM for High-Performance Automotive Symposium. These sessions highlighted innovations in powertrain development and additive manufacturing for motorsport and high-performance vehicles.

In the Advanced Powertrain Technology Forum, expert speakers explored themes such as hybrid and electric race powertrains, alternative fuels, energy recovery systems, thermal efficiency, and engine simulation - ultimately focusing on race-to-road technology transfer. This forum offered insight into how racing teams and OEMs are addressing the evolving performance and sustainability demands of motorsport and niche vehicle engineering.

The AM for High-Performance Automotive Symposium highlighted how additive manufacturing is being used for rapid prototyping, lightweight structural components, cooling and thermal management, and low-volume part production for motorsport, hypercars and high-performance automotive. Presentations featured real-world applications from across Formula 1, endurance racing, rally, and specialist vehicle manufacturing.

If you're involved in high-performance automotive engineering, these forums provide a must-attend opportunity to learn from the industry’s most innovative minds.

As the program builds, you’ll be able to find updated details for both forums. In the meantime, please register your interest to be one of the first to know when registration opens.
