Synopsis
Join this advanced on-site workshop at PMW Expo 2026 for a deeper exploration of the simulation techniques used to understand and optimise vehicle behaviour in modern motorsport.
This workshop is designed for engineers and professionals with some prior vehicle dynamics knowledge who want to explore how simulation can be applied to real-world performance challenges. Through a combination of lectures, interactive derivations and hands-on exercises, attendees will examine the tools and methods used to model complex vehicle behaviour, with a particular focus on transient response.
With examples rooted in Formula 1 and wider motorsport practice, the workshop provides a practical introduction to the role of simulation in performance analysis and engineering decision-making.

Lead presenter:
Javier Bermejo - Javier brings extensive Formula 1 experience, having worked as a Performance Engineer at Audi Revolut F1 Team and as a Vehicle Dynamics Engineer at Red Bull Racing. His background in high-level motorsport engineering gives attendees direct exposure to the thinking and methods used in elite performance environments.
