Sam is responsible for commercial and business development activities for McLaren Applied motorsport control systems, sensors and software. Sam rejoined McLaren Applied in 2021 after a 4-year break working for MTS Systems and AVL.
After completing his degree in Automotive Engineering from the University of Bath, Sam has worked in various motorsport and automotive positions in design with Lotus Renault GP, trackside data engineering with Formula Two, and vehicle testing at Ford, before transitioning to a commercial career by joining McLaren Electronic Systems in 2012, working in Technical Sales and Account Management.
