Nathan Sanders
founder and technical director,
Control
Nathan founded Control in 2016, originally to write software for motorsport and resell electronics into the paddock. Working alongside customers, one thing became obvious fast: teams were either using old point-to-point radios that belonged in a different era, or cellular solutions that had been repurposed from other industries and weren't built for what racing demanded. Before Control, Nathan spent years building software and designing networking and infrastructure for insurance, defence and banking, industries where connectivity has to be resilient, secure, and available under pressure. Applying that engineering discipline to motorsport was the opening Control was built on.
