Andrew Cunningham is a seasoned engineer specializing in advanced manufacturing, motorsports and automotive engineering. Currently based in Hamburg, he leads worldwide automotive and motorsport technical development at Nikon SLM Solutions. His prior work includes founding a global motorsport additive manufacturing initiative at General Motors, responsible for implementing 120 race-proven applications. He also led much of the scale wind tunnel testing for the 2019 NASCAR Mustang and oversaw the 2017 F-150 Raptor 1,000-mile Desert Durability test. Cunningham holds an MEng. from MIT and a BSc in mechanical engineering from Cal Poly SLO. He is passionate about innovation and holds 14 patents in the areas of vehicle aerodynamics, optimized structures and manufacturing systems.
