This presentation describes the evolution from the Temerario’s hybrid layout (turbocharged engine + P1 electric motor) to a fully thermal turbocharged engine preserving the heritage of Lamborghini DNA for motorsport application. The challenge was to capture the soul of racing by preserving the raw thrill of Lamborghini's naturally aspirated heritage, while echoing the innovation of the road-going hybrid powertrain of Lamborghini Temerario. The resulting system delivers high specific output while maintaining drivability and response fidelity aligned with Lamborghini’s core engineering principles. Experimental results and simulation data validate the effectiveness of these solutions under competitive conditions.
