Additive Manufacturing for Motorsport and High-Performance Automotive Symposium
High-performance vehicle programmes rarely develop against a stable brief. Requirements change, packaging moves, simulations uncover new problems, suppliers introduce constraints and the deadline usually does not move. This presentation will explore how engineering organisations can structure development to move quickly without losing technical control — from defining requirements and making early architecture decisions through CAD/CAE, DFM, supplier integration, prototype builds and final component delivery. The emphasis will be on practical lessons from real programmes: how to make decisions with incomplete information, how to identify which risks need solving immediately, and how to keep engineering, manufacturing, quality and programme teams moving together.
