ANFIA – the Italian Association of the Automotive Industry – with 530 member companies is one of the largest trade associations in Italy. Among its sector-specific activities, ANFIA includes a dedicated Motorsport Section, established in 2016 to represent and support Italy's motorsport supply chain. The Section brings together the industry's leading players, promotes the sector through participation in international trade fairs, collects and shares market data, and monitors technical regulations. Following Brexit, Italy has become Europe’s leading motorsport manufacturing hub. The sector generates around €2 billion in annual turnover and employs 7,000–8,000 people, driven by a network of highly specialized SMEs recognized for innovation, performance and global competitiveness.
