Aixtreme Racing is the Formula Student team of FH Aachen, bringing together students from different disciplines to develop and build high-performance race cars from the ground up. Founded in 2007, Aixtreme Racing spent its first years developing combustion-powered Formula Student cars, advancing our engineering knowledge, teamwork and racing performance. Since 2024, we have taken the next step into the future of Formula Student with our fully electric race cars.

Today, our focus lies on innovative electric powertrains, battery technology, vehicle dynamics, lightweight construction and advanced control systems. From battery management systems and high-voltage electronics to electric motors, thermal management and software, our students work on technologies that go beyond the racetrack.

What makes Aixtreme Racing special is the opportunity to turn theory into a race car. Students take responsibility for their designs, learn from experienced team members and work together across disciplines to solve complex engineering challenges.
