The INS uses an extended Kalman filter to combine data from a GNSS receiver and an IMU to estimate the following parameters at 400hz:

  • Body Frame Accelerations
  • Body Frame Linear Velocities
  • Angular Velocities
  • Orientation (roll, pitch, yaw, quaternion)
  • Position (LLA and/or ECEF)
  • Slip Angle

The data products are sent out via CAN. DBC files, and other configuration files are provided for MoTeC, Cosworth, Bosch Motorsport, etc.
